INSTROL - Help

Registration:

• To register click on the register tab at the top of the page.

• Choose the region where you want to receive your lessons and then continue to choose a post code area.

• Enter your personal details into the boxes, making sure that all the information is correct so your driving instructor can contact you if required.

• Finally enter your account information so that you can log in to use Instrol and its facilities.

• You will automatically be sent an e mail with your account information in, if at any time you need to change the settings of your account then you can do so by logging in and clicking on 'account settings'. 

Choosing an instructor:

• Go to the search page using the tabs at the top of the page.

• Choose the region where you would like to book your driving instructor and then select a post code area, for a more local search type in the place where you live.

• From the options that you have searched, a list will appear with all the available driving instructor's in your post code area.

• You will then be able to view the details of the driving instructor's until you have found one that you want.

• Once you are satisfied with a driving instructor click on the button 'Choose this instructor'

• Now you have your new driving instructor they will contact you to arrange your booking

Booking lessons:

• Firstly it is recommended that you register with Instrol and make sure you are logged in.

• Remember not all driving instructors use their diary so when you select the 'Choose this instructor' button they will be sent your details and will contact you.

• If they do use their diary then click on time table on the left hand side of your screen, this will bring up the time table of the driving instructor you selected.

• From here you can select the date that you wish to receive a lesson on and see what times are available.
  
• Once you have found a suitable date and time that you wish to book then you simply click on the 'book' button to the right of the time.

• If this is the first lesson that you have booked with your driving instructor then your instructor will contact you to confirm your booking.

Instructor's:

• Once you have registered your details with Instrol, your details will appear in the results when pupils search your area.

• You can also upload your diary onto the website so pupils can see when you are free to give lessons, although this is not necessary.

• When pupils decide that they what you as their instructor they will click a button that selects you on the system, you will receive a text message with details of your new pupil.

• At this point it is recomended that you contact the pupil to confirm that you have received their details succesfully and if they have not booked using your online diary you can arrange a booking when you are free.

• Details of the lesson that they have booked will be sent in a text to you so you can update your diaries instantly.

• When you are chosen by a pupil your account will be changed and the amount owed will increase by £20 per pupil you receive

• There is no other cost involved and you have a new pupil guaranteed.

• All future bookings that this pupil makes on the website will not cost you and the pupil will pay in the car as normal.

Discussion forums:

• You can use Instrol's discussion forum to speak to other learner drivers on various topics or to ask for advice from driving instructors.

• Simply click on a topic that you wish to view to read the comments made by others

• If you have a particular view point on one of the topics then click on add reply and type in your message.
